On 28 January 2015 I dedicated my Google+ page to the life and death of Laura.
The first post:
“My beautiful daughter Laura…Noura. Death by suicide on 16 November 2014 in Dubai. Love you xxx”
I didn’t mention where she had died.
Another post on 24 February 2015
“In the midst of extreme pain and sadness I thought that I would share something of beauty with my daughter…Sergei Polunin and Kristina Shapran in an unrehearsed improvisation to Satie’s Gnossienne No1 – Kristina reminds me a bit of my daughter who had a middle parting in her hair, and wore her ponytail not to the left, but to the right side…and she was also very slight and fragile…”
On 16 March 2015, four months after Laura had died, I was at the rooftop pool deck of the Abidos Hotel Dubailand, when a more modern version of this beautiful piece of music filled the air. It was at the same time, four months earlier, that Laura was leaving the hotel. Her final footsteps.
4 March 2015
I posted this on my daughter’s facebook on 3 November 2014. In my misty mind, I only realised months later that she had reached the decision to take her life…but it wasn’t the first time…
‘Please share this with someone who needs to know how valuable they are’.

When Rob Davies of the Daily Mail released the expose of Laura’s death on 18 March 2015, different new agencies, bloggers etc, used photographs and information from my Google+ page, helping to reveal the government of Dubai’s cover-up of Laura’s death. The cover-up was exposed.
Thank you Google+ for being part of Laura’s journey, and mine…
