“Gaza…The sad tragedy that some people go through. Is it not reason enough to be wise to see that beyond everything else, innocent children suffer for human ego and ignorance and lack of Heart. Sometimes you wonder if the adults of this world actually set a good example at all! Where did they lose their humanity!!!!!? And for those who think they have problems look at what these people have to go through every day year after year, never having a moment’s peace!
Be the change you seek in the world!”
She would have been horrified if she had been alive today, as I am, as millions of other people are. Words can’t express how I feel. The countries that can stop this mass murder and ethnic cleansing don’t want it to end. As always its about power (ego) and greed.
And so, in Laura’s name and for the rest of my life I support sanctions against israel and the boycott of all their products in South Africa. There are more countries to follow.

‘Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) is a Palestinian-led movement for freedom, justice and equality. BDS upholds the simple principle that Palestinians are entitled to the same rights as the rest of humanity.
Israel is occupying and colonising Palestinian land, discriminating against Palestinian citizens of Israel and denying Palestinian refugees the right to return to their homes. Inspired by the South African anti-apartheid movement, the BDS call urges action to pressure Israel to comply with international law.
BDS is now a vibrant global movement made up of unions, academic associations, churches and grassroots movements across the world. Since its launch in 2005, BDS is having a major impact and is effectively challenging international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism’.
As a minimalist I am not much of a consumer but I add my voice to this movement and encourage every humanitarian to follow suit.
