“O ato de perdoar

Seja o que ou quem for

Independente da dor que ainda restou

Das feridas que ainda não cicatrizaram

Um simples gesto que enche de leveza o coração

Perdoar é uma virtude

É se colocar no lugar do outro

Saber ouvir, não apenas falar

Olhar o próximo de coração aberto

Abraçar com a alma quem um dia lhe decepcionou.”

“The act of forgiving Whatever or whoever Regardless of the pain that remains Of the wounds that have not yet healed A simple gesture that fills the heart with lightness Forgiving is a virtue It is putting yourself in the other’s shoes Knowing how to listen, not just talk Looking at the next with an open heart Embrace with the soul who once disappointed you.”

Practicing the Presence through Mind and Meditation shared the following link and had this to say about it:

“When we see everyone is a part of us,

that any criticism we make is self-criticism,

we will extend to ourselves an unconditional love

that will light the world.”

Sadness is what makes us think.

People, when they get depressed or down they take anti-depressants

cause they believe that one should always be happy

but that is not human nature!

Allah gives us moments of sadness, or tough times

to bring us closer to Him

to make us think and become deeper people and understand

what He’s trying to tell us.

If we did not suffer how would we understand happiness and joy?

If we did not suffer how would we understand compassion

and empathy for those less fortunate?

And be thankful for that which we do have.

All has its reasons!

How would we gain knowledge

if we had everything and were always happy?”
